Mr. Long was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Emory University and the University of Tennessee College of Law. In law school, he served as Chair of the Moot Court Board, was a two-year member of the National Moot Court team, and was the recipient of the McClung Medal for excellence in advocacy. He has served as President of the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division as well as the Knoxville Barristers and has served on the Board of Governors for both the TBA and KBA. Additionally, he has served as a delegate to the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Assembly. The focus of Mr. Long’s practice is medical malpractice defense and general civil litigation.
